Peptrack GPS Location Tracking Device Installation Guide
Peptrack GPS Tracking Devices - Easy to Install, Easy to Use
Peptrack GPS devices are easy to install and easy to use. You need a multi-meter to find the constant voltage and ignition wires. You may require some basic tools to do the wiring as well.
The GPS device is capable to work on a voltage range of 10V to 30V DC power source.
Connect the Red wire to the constant voltage source.
Connect the black wire to the body of the vehicle.
The Digital Input (Yellow Wire on FMB920) can be connected to Ignition or Door Sensor or Emergency (Panic) Button.
These connections should be enough for you to get started with GPS tracking functions.
Optionally you can connect the Analog Input (Grey Wire on FMB920) to Fuel or Temperature Sensor and Digital Output (White Wire on FMB920) to a relay switch for remote immobilizer.
Make sure that all your wires are firmly connected. Any loose connected wire will result in malfunctioning of the device. Also make sure that wires are not in contact with any part of the vehicle which produces heat. Once you are done with the wiring, it's time to place the device at proper location.
Do not place the GPS device under the metal part as it might block the GPS signals. Make sure that GPS antenna inside the device is facing upwards.
Remote Ignition Control through mobile phone:
GPS tracking device can also be used as a remote controlled switch using a relay and smart phone or laptop. You can turn off your vehicle engine from any part of the world. Refer the below diagram on how to connect 5 pin relay switch with the GPS tracking device. Use 5 pin relay with proper voltage and current ratings.
